Mrs S Hitchin (Drama Teacher)

I graduated from university in 2000 with a BA in Performing Arts. I worked as a professional actor for many years and won awards for fridge theatre performance. I loved playing a multitude of parts in a variety of venues across Europe and the United Kingdom. I worked for several years delivering theatre workshops in secondary and primary schools, it was during this time that I discovered my love for teaching and went on to work for a national theatre school. I have been teaching drama in primary schools since 2012. 

I also run Act First Drama School. The focus at Act First is acting, inspiring imaginations, helping concentration, building confidence and self-esteem.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, long dog walks, gardening, and cooking. 

You will often find me up the allotment chatting to my veggies.
