I am privileged to be the Headteacher of Bildeston primary School, a school that is committed to providing a friendly, caring, supportive environment where children are valued, nurtured and given the self-belief to be their very best. We aim to provide fantastic educational and curriculum opportunities for children to reach their full potential. I am proud to lead a team who are fully committed to children's well-being whilst aspiring for all to do their best.
The school is very well supported by governors and parents as well as the local community. We believe the stronger these partnerships are the more your children can thrive. We have a highly active Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA). We are federated with Whatfield CEVC Primary School and have strong links with other local primary schools and Hadleigh High School.
The school is committed to safeguarding, if you have any concerns about a child in school please contact the school's Designated Safeguarding lead, Mrs Liz Healy or an Alternative Designated Safeguarding lead, Mrs Julia Shaw or Mrs Angela Simmons. The safeguarding governor is Mrs Jess Searle.
The website should give you an insight into our school, if you would like paper copies please contact us through the school office. We welcome visits from you and your children, just contact the office through the website or by telephone to make an appointment.
I look forward to welcoming you and your child(ren) into school.
Mrs Julia Shaw B.Ed (Hons) CANTAB
