I am a Teaching Assistant who supports children within the classroom during the morning, either working with small groups, one to one or generally supporting the teacher.

Supporting children with their mental health is extremely important to me and I like to ensure that I am available at any time if a child wishes to talk to me about anything related to their mental health, including worries, bereavement, anger and friendship.  I run a nurture group each week, which includes talking about feelings and worries, reading a story and playing a game or doing a craft activity.

I work closely with the Speech Therapist to ensure that children have regular speech and language therapy sessions to meet their needs.

In my spare time I am a keen gardener and enjoy hiring out my vintage china, selling vintage items and reading.
