Homework books/Reading journals must be in class everyday. Parents and children  must ensure that both books are with the children when they come to school, as they will be required throughout the day for any home school messages or updates with homework.

On World Book Day Eagle Class read and completed work on the book, “How to train your Dragon”.

Pancake Day

Eagles enjoyed themselves making and eating pancakes to celebrate Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day)

Orienteering in Eagle Class

In Eagles class, we have started to learn how to orienteer. We have been having lots of fun!


In Science Year 3 and Year 4 are looking at:

  • Describing in simple terms how fossils are formed when things that have lived are trapped within rock

  • Recognising that soils are made from rocks and organic matter

Our Visit to Colchester Castle

Poems with Music

In Eagle class we made our own poems with musical accompaniment using our voices and the percussion instruments

Ukelele Lessons in Eagle Class

"This week Eagles class have started to learn the ukulele. We enjoyed our first session and are looking forward to learning enough chords to play some full songs."

"Rockin all over the World"

We are now learning "Rockin all over the world" by Status Quo

Team Forum Circle Time


Every term, Eagles Class holds a circle time to give their ideas for making Bildeston Primary School a better place. These ideas are taken to the School Council Meetings by the School Council representatives from each class where they are discussed with the other members of the school council and the Head teacher.
